The GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship

Award Amount: $40,000 ($10,000 per year)

Eligibility: To be eligible for this award, applicants must:

  • Demonstrate the attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship within their communities, schools, and workplaces

  • Demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent).

  • Be citizens of the United States of America.

  • Be current high school seniors attending high school within the United States, (including any U.S. territories or commonwealths), and graduating in winter 2025 or spring 2026. Homeschooled applicants and applicants living on a U.S. Armed Forces base and attending high school outside the U.S. are eligible.

  • Plan to enroll in a full‑time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four‑year college or university in the United States for the entire 2026-2027 academic school year

Award Amount: $1,000 - $60,000

Eligibility:

  • Be living in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, or Canada

  • Be graduating high school seniors (U.S., Puerto Rico, and Guam), graduating from grade 12 (Canada) or graduating from home school education in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, or Canada

  • Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent

  • Plan to enroll full-time, without interruption, for the entire 2026-27 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school or CEGEP or equivalent in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, or Canada

  • Be currently enrolled in high school and graduating in the spring of 2026

  • Must have a minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 on a 10.0 scale

  • Be of Hispanic heritage

  • If selected, attendance to virtual regional awards ceremony is mandatory

Eligibility:

  • High School Seniors

  • Must participate in at least one extra-curricular activity during the 2024-2025 school year.

  • Applicants should have completed volunteer hours that show a commitment to serving their community.

  • Applicants must submit a one-page essay describing their favorite book and explaining why it holds personal significance.

Eligibility:

  • High school seniors

  • Must plan to pursue a degree in the field of law enforcement/criminal justice OR be the son/daughter/grandchild of an active/retired Texas Commissioned Peace Officer (going into any field of study)

  • Submit completed application with essay

    • (1) a detailed description of services rendered at school and in community and

    • (2) explanation as to why applicant is applying for this scholarship (explain need for financial aid) and explain why they chose their field of study.

  • Submit current transcript showing class rank and GPA

Eligibility:

  • Must attend a 4-year university/college.

  • Please attach a 2 page, double spaced, typed essay explaining;

    o   (1) financial situations which need to be considered

    o   (2) your career goals and the education you intend to pursue.      

    o   (3) your most important goals in life and explain how this scholarship might help you achieve those goals.

  • Attach a resume and a transcript with rank and GPA.

  • A total of 6-$1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
