The following is a comprehensive list of scholarships that are currently available to A.C. Jones students. Please be advised that the list is updated frequently. Award Amount: $500

Eligibility:

  • Parents or guardian must be a Bee County Farm Bureau member in good standing for at least one year.

  • Applicant must be a graduating senior of high school in Bee County (AC Jones, Pettus, Skidmore-Tynan)

  • Applicants can be pursuing any major.

  • Scholarship amount is $500. First semester $250 will be awarded upon proof of registration. The second half of the award, $250 will be issued upon proof of passing grades and second semester registration.

  • Applications must be post marked no later than March 27, 2026.

  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

  • Must have applied to or be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university, including 2-year colleges, or vocational schools that lead to an associate’s degree. Graduate students must have applied to or be enrolled as a part-time student in a college or university.

  • A student will not be eligible for a scholarship if he/she is related to a scholarship committee member, the Council President, or an individual contributor to the local funds of the Council

Eligibility:

  • Eligibility:

    • Applicants must identify as Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander (AANHPI).

    • Applicants must currently be enrolled as a high school senior and be attending college by Fall 2026.

    • Applicants must be first-gen, meaning your parents did not complete a college or university degree.

    • Applicants do not need to be a U.S. citizen. DACA students or undocumented students must have a Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to be eligible for this scholarship.

    • If awarded a scholarship, applicants may be required to submit either a 2025 or 2026 tax return.

    • Awarded scholars will be required to submit proof that they’ve been accepted into one or more colleges/universities before receiving the scholarship.

      • an OCA National staff member,

Science Without Borders Scholarship

Science Without Borders Scholarship

Award Amount: $500, $350, $200

Eligibility:

This international art competition is open to all students 11-19 years old. Students must be enrolled in primary or secondary school, or the home school equivalent. College and university students are not eligible for this contest.

Work will be judged in two categories based on age, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes awarded for each:

  • Students 11-14 years old

  • Students 15-19 years old

  • Submissions must be made online. Email submissions are not permitted.

  • All artwork must be an original work by the contestant and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties. Do not copy an idea from a past participants’ work.

  • Do not submit artwork to the Science Without Borders® Challenge that you have entered into another art competition.

  • The artwork must be 2D such as a painting or drawing. Acceptable media includes paint, pencil, marker, crayon, ink, felt, and oil pastel. Using magazines, newspapers, or other non-original work is also not permitted. Digitally created artwork, including photographs, are not accepted.

  • There are no minimum or maximum size requirements for the artwork.

  • Participants may submit only 1 art piece.

  • Academic Status: Graduating high school seniors, undergraduates (freshman through senior) for the 2026-2027 School Year.

  • Citizenship/Residency: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident.

  • Enrollment: High school seniors and undergraduate students (first through fourth year). Planning to enroll full-time for the 2026–2027 academic year at a U.S.-accredited college or university.

  • Field of Study: Must intend to major or already be majoring in one of the following fields:

    • Biochemistry

    • Chemical or Science Education

    • Chemical Engineering

    • Chemistry

    • Environmental Chemistry
