The following is a comprehensive list of scholarships that are currently available to A.C. Jones students. Please be advised that the list is updated frequently. Voice of Democracy

Eligibility:
Open to students in grades 9-12
Applicants must be enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the US.

Patriot’s Pen Scholarship
Award Amount: up to $5,000
Eligibility:
Open to students in grades 6th, 7th, 8th
Applicants must be enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the U.S.

Buc Days Leadership Program Scholarship
Award Amount: Varies
Eligibility:
High school seniors
2.5 or better GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours during the Fall 2026 semester

Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards
Award Amount: Varies
Eligibility:
Be currently enrolled in high school and graduating in the spring of 2026
Must have a minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 on a 10.0 scale
Be of Hispanic heritage
If selected, attendance to virtual regional awards ceremony is mandatory

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship
Award Amount: Up to $55,000
Eligibility:
High School Senior
Must enroll in an accredited four-year college beginning in the Fall of 2026
Unweighted GPA of 3.75 or higher
Financial need: Family income $95,000 or less

The Elks National Foundation Scholarship
Award Amount: Varies
Eligibility:
Current High school seniors
Do not need be related to a member of the Elks
Must be a U.S. citizen
Scholarships are available only to students who enroll in four-year undergraduate degree programs at accredited U.S. American colleges or universities.
Deadline: November 12, 2025
10 Words or Less Scholarship
Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility:
Be between the ages of 14-25 who will be attending school in the Fall of 2026.
Be attending a school in the US or Canada in the Fall 2026 semester.
Short answer: “In 10 words or less, tell us why you deserve the $1,000 scholarship.”

National Space Club and Foundation Scholarship
Award Amount: $20,000
Eligibility:
The applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
The scholarship is open to seniors in high school through graduate students.
The applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests.
The applicant can only use the $20,000.00 scholarship towards tuition for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The applicant must not have previously spoken at the Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner.

The Hagan Scholarship
Award Amount: Varies
Eligibility:
Must graduate from a public, private charter, or STEM high school
High School Senior
Must achieve a 3.5 GPA
Must enroll in an eligible college or university the fall semester following graduation
Must work 240 hours from January 1, 2026 until September 1, 2026.
Parents 2024 Adjusted Gross Income must not exceed $100,000.
Finalist must provide FAFSA information.
Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.

The Coolidge Scholarship

Eligibility:
High School Junior who is taking dual credit courses
Must intend to enroll full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university as an undergraduate for the first time in Fall 2027.
Must be a U.S. citizen
Applicants cannot be immediate family member of any current employee, trustee, or significant donor to the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation or the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Fund.
