Eligibility:

  • Be accepted or enrolled at an accredited university in Texas or Oklahoma and pursuing a degree program in agriculture or an agriculture-related program (Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Agribusiness, Range Management or Wildlife) and plan to work in the field of agriculture.

  • Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of Texas or Oklahoma.

  • Be a member or sponsored by a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be dependent* children of full-time employees in the financial services industry (commercial banks, investment banks, securities brokerage firms, insurance companies, fund and asset management companies, credit card and finance companies and similar businesses as determined by the Foundation). Employees must be presently employed with at least five years of experience by the program closing date
    *Dependent children are defined as natural and legally adopted children or step-children living in the employee’s household and who are primarily supported by the employee

  • Be currently enrolled as high school seniors who plan to enroll in a full time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four year college or university in the U.S.

  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale)

Eligibility:

  • 9th-12th graders who are impacted by cancer and live in the U.S.

  • Essay length must not exceed 1,500 words

  • Not eligible: poems, essays about a pet, or fiction

  • Essays must be original content of the author and in their own voice

  • Cash prizes of $1,000 will be awarded to the winners (winners will be asked to fill out a IRS W-9 form)

Eligibility:

  • Academic Status: Graduating high school seniors, undergraduates (freshman through senior) for the 2026-2027 School Year.

  • Citizenship/Residency: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident.

  • Enrollment: High school seniors and undergraduate students (first through fourth year). Planning to enroll full-time for the 2026–2027 academic year at a U.S.-accredited college or university.

  • Field of Study: Must intend to major or already be majoring in one of the following fields:

    • Biochemistry

    • Chemical or Science Education

    • Chemical Engineering

    • Chemistry

    • Environmental Chemistry

    • Forensic Chemistry/Forensic Science

    • Materials Chemistry/Materials

    • Other chemistry-based sciences.*    

  • Academic Achievement: Demonstrate high academic achievement in chemistry or science, with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.

Science Without Borders Scholarship

Science Without Borders Scholarship

Award Amount: $500, $350, $200

Eligibility:

This international art competition is open to all students 11-19 years old. Students must be enrolled in primary or secondary school, or the home school equivalent. College and university students are not eligible for this contest.

Work will be judged in two categories based on age, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes awarded for each:

  • Students 11-14 years old

  • Students 15-19 years old

  • Submissions must be made online. Email submissions are not permitted.

  • All artwork must be an original work by the contestant and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties. Do not copy an idea from a past participants’ work.

  • Do not submit artwork to the Science Without Borders® Challenge that you have entered into another art competition.

  • The artwork must be 2D such as a painting or drawing. Acceptable media includes paint, pencil, marker, crayon, ink, felt, and oil pastel. Using magazines, newspapers, or other non-original work is also not permitted. Digitally created artwork, including photographs, are not accepted.

  • There are no minimum or maximum size requirements for the artwork.

  • Participants may submit only 1 art piece.

Rumba Meats Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000

Eligibility:

  • Must be a high school senior graduating in the Spring of 2026

  • Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time undergraduate students in an accredited four-year or two-year institution in the U.S. or U.S. territories

  • Students must verify their enrollment status for the 2025/2026 academic school year prior to scholarship disbursement

  • Non-U.S. Citizens are eligible to apply (DACA or undocumented).

  • Applicants must demonstrate a verifiable need for financial support

  • Consistent, active participation in public and/or community service activities

  • At least one parent must be of Hispanic ancestry

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA

Requirements:

  • Background –Describe your family history (parents/guardian, siblings), life and/or work experiences that have influenced you. What is your most significant achievement? Did you overcome any obstacles or challenges? If so, how? (500-1,000 words)

  • Your Heritage and You – How has your Hispanic heritage influenced how you live your life? What impact has it had on your leadership aspirations? How will your heritage influence how you will serve your community in the future? What do you see as some of the most important Hispanic contributions to the United States? (500-1,000 words)

National Space Club and Foundation Scholarship

Award Amount: $20,000

Eligibility:

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen.

  • The scholarship is open to seniors in high school through graduate students.

  • The applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests.

  • The applicant can only use the $20,000.00 scholarship towards tuition for the 2026-2027 academic year.

  • The applicant must not have previously spoken at the Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner.
